What I Learned Today 9/12/2014

Today, I finished my Wordly Wise unit 1. The underlined words are my vocabulary words I used in a paragraph.

One day, my step-Dad's boss decided that he was compatible with his co-workers and deserved a promotion. He was able to assign himself at North Carolina! He was burly enough to move the furniture into the car and go! Some of the furniture was hard to budge. I was having my summer vacation at North Carolina when my mom came with a new companion! Moxie, her service dog, and I were very compatible at first sight, but she was still getting accustomed to the area. Moxie was being trained to be alert, obedient, and patient. None of which Moxie has right now (she is still a puppy). She isn’t like a guide dog trying to guide its master around other pedestrians, and obstacles because she is a puppy, and today, she was very sleepy and retired early. When my mom signed up to get a service dog almost two years ago, she really liked the concept of it. Sometimes Moxie gets jostled when she wants to stay inside when we want her out. And now, Debrin, Mom, Foxie, Moxie, and I are all home!

I completed my arithmetic review in my pre-algebra textbook. I learned the pairing method for long problems.

Today I was able to add items to minecraft! Using java programming, I was able to add new assets and new classes to ellipse! (My programming tool.) If you don’t know what I mean, then basically, I was making a file for the item and instantiated the item.

Also, I went to cub scouts for the very first time! I shot a soda bottle up into the air, and I got a kit to make a catapult out of clothespins and Popsicle sticks! Debrin and I have not finished it but are in the process. I’m really exited about getting tons of badges!
